Dog Accommodations
Each of our 12 kennels consists of a clean, quiet, climate-controlled room with an outdoor run. Secure gated access gives each dog a safe path to the shaded play yards, allowing most dogs at DeSoto Kennels to be off-leash. Inside, calming music and nature sounds can be played into each room.
Leaving your pet is an anxious and emotional time for both of you. Take them somewhere you know they enjoy, and a place you know enjoys taking care of them. Repeat customers often say that their dogs remember visits and are eager and excited to return to DeSoto Kennels!

Please use the reservation page to submit your request, and you will typically receive a same-day confirmation via email.
Guests are off-leash while playing together, so if this is your first time boarding with us, we require a scheduled visit with your dog(s) along with a copy of vaccination records. That way, we can observe your dog's interaction with others while exploring the playgrounds. We also get to meet each other, and you have the opportunity to tour the facility. A pre-boarding visit is a great way to lessen the stress of separation for both pets and owners.

Outdoor Playtime
When it's time to play, our two-acre open yard provides all the room your dog needs to get the required exercise. Playtime also goes beyond the usual nature walk. Your pet receives tons of interaction with Jacob & Nicole, from a game of ball or Frisbee to tug of war, to lounging in the sandbox, to a dip in the wading pool, to social time with other canine guests. There's plenty for dogs to do!
